Tal Patali Gur (Palmyra Jaggery), also known as Taler Gur, is one of Bengal’s summer delicacy and is well known to all Bengali people for its various health benefits. This Tal Patali Gur is made out of Tal Rosh (Palmyra Juice) extracted from the very early stage of plum formation in the tree during mid April to mid June. The juice is then processed in the same manner as the date juice is processed for making Patali Gur (Palm Jaggery). The juice is put on fire for turning it into Gur (Jaggery). Gradually it takes burgundy colour and semi solid form.
Tal Patali (Palmyra Jaggery) is made by the farmers from various districts in West Bengal. This Tal Patali (Palmyra Jaggery) does not contain any added sugar or any chemical.
This Tal Patali (Palmyra Jaggery) can be used as a cooling snack during summer or can even to used to sweeten seasonal drinks and desserts like Payesh.

This 600G Tal Patali Gur (Palmyra Jaggery) will have two pieces of traditional circular shapes of Patali 300G each approx.
