This Kit consists of 5 different colored 100% cotton handloom Khadi 2 layered Masks.

These 5 colored masks are naturally dyed with Genda Phool (Marigold). Raw Turmeric. Khayer (Catechu). Natural Indigo. Sindoor Beech (Manjistha)

Natural dye has various advantages- several sources of plant dyes rich in naphthoquinones are reported to exhibit antibacterial and antifungal activities, some dye has medicinal properties too.

These masks are washable so that you can afford it and use it multiple times unlike one time use masks.

Process of making mask:

• Preventive measures have been taken while manufacturing the mask.

• Firstly, the fabric is sterilized to deactivate all form of life and biological agents.

• The fabric is treated with neem, myrobalan and aloe vera (destroying germs, developing antibacterial properties).

• Dyeing with natural dye followed by cutting and stitching (in this process the workers maintain proper cleanliness and put on sanitized mask and gloves).

Some additional specification:

• It snugly but comfortably against the side of the face

• Be secured with ties or ear loops

• Include multiple layers of fabric

• Allow for breathing without restriction

• Be able to be laundered and machine dried without damage or change to shape

Measures of washing the mask:

The mask should be routinely washed depending on the frequency of use and it should be washed with warm water with non-ionic detergent.

Measures to take off the mask:

Individuals should be careful not to touch their eyes, nose, and mouth when removing their face covering and wash hands immediately after removing.

Very Important Notes

This mask is not a COVID-19 mask and not to be used for medical purpose. This is not a non-woven mask and completely different from N-95 and surgical masks. This mask does not guarantee to stop spreading COVID-19 virus but it helps to prevent the spread of virus from asymptomatic people. It is advised to consult a doctor or a healthcare stuff for more details about COVID 19 masks.
