Return Policy:

We at Bong Haat, believe in providing you the best of Bengali products sourced from the districts in West Bengal. But if in any chance the products don’t come up to your expectations we also have an easy return and refund policy.

Important note:

• You are requested to write to us within 24 hours from the date of delivery and the product should reach our warehouse in 7 to 10 days. (To be couriered by the customer at his/her cost which will be reimbursed in terms of Bong Haat’ coupons which can be used in the future shopping with Bong Haat)

• If the product you receive is damaged, drop in a return request. We will provide you with our warehouse address where you can send us the product.

• The product should reach us in its original condition without any damage or any other kind of tampering.

• The product should be returned in a well packed box so as to avoid any damage in the transit.

• The shipping address of Bong Haat should be clearly mentioned on the package to be returned and in complete detail.

Upon receiving the product we will inspect the damage and provide you with an option of either a replacement or a reimbursement. (Note: The delivery cost of the replacement will be completely borne by us)

Returns will not be accepted under the following cases and circumstances:

• Food and Perishable products like Sandesh, Fish, Fruits and magazines

• The product has been tampered with in any way.

• The product has been consumed, used, washed or changed in any other way.

• Crafts are prone to slight differences in the design, colour and pattern work; therefore we may not be able to refund your order if the same are your reasons for making a return.

• You are requested to enquire about any doubts or clarification that you may have regarding any products before going for the final checkout. Drop in a mail at contact@BongHaat.com and have all your questions cleared in a very short time.

• The products are of standard quality but not to your personal liking in terms of taste and colour.

• Bong Haat is not liable for undelivered orders if the address provided by the customer is incorrect. In that case the customer has to bear the cost of transportation of return of the packet and the cost of transportation of re-sending of the packets from the origin

Order Cancellation:

If you wish to cancel your order with us please note:

• For cancelling an order kindly drop us a mail at contact@BongHaat.com

• The order can only be cancelled if it has not already been shipped.

• If the order has been paid for through a credit card or net banking and has not yet been shipped, we will refund the order in full amount.

• However, once the order has been shipped from our storehouse, you will not be entitled for any refund and it will become a return on your side.
